step 1: INITIAL EVALUATION
The first step is to fill out our online inquiry form. We will then send you a link to review our Chop Franchise Guide. This guide will answer all your questions about what you get when you join our franchise family. In addition, one of our franchise team members will reach out to you. Last, you will receive a formal Chop Franchise Application. Please fill the application out and return to your Chop contact.
step 2: sit down with the owners
Following your application, if all requirements for ownership are met, We will invite you to Tallahassee to meet the owners and staff of Chop Barbershop as well as a current franchise owner. After a full day of getting to know the people and the shops We love, We will provide you all the documentation required for a franchise arrangement.
step 3: let’s do this!
After completion of the Franchise Agreement, you will be provided your very own Chop E-hub for your location which will provide you all materials and information needed to hit the ground running including site selection, document templates, construction budgets etc. A Chop staff member will be working with you every step of the way to make sure you have the support you need to make the right location decisions.
step 4: training and preparation
After you have selected your site and construction is well under way, We will have you join us again in Tallahassee, Florida for a comprehensive set up and training week with yourself and one selected manager. During this week, you will work hand in hand with the founders to create your online booking system, payroll and benefits offerings, accounting systems, inventory control, etc. You will also spend one full day devoted to personality and leadership training, crucial aspects to successful business ownership.
step 5: outfit your store
Once your construction phase reaches near completion, Our team of outfitters will bring your outfitting package to you and install all components necessary to transform your location to a Chop Barbershop!
step 6: grand opening week
After outfitting is complete and you have selected your new team members, the week prior to opening, our education team will come to you to provide 4 full days of hands on barber and cosmetology training. By the end of the 4 days the team will let you know about any concerns they may have and make recommendations designed to improve the quality and speed of your staff’s services. The founders will be part of the education team and will stay on for 2-3 days after the education is over to help prepare and organize your grand opening! And its off we go!
